- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Spent 2 hours calling Animal Control every 15-20 minutes about a stray dog holed up in a vacant house next door and no one ever answered the phone. Finally called the Humane Society since they are housed in the same building and asked if they could get a message to Animal Control. I was told I had to call Animal Control because they are separate organizations, so I called one more time. The phone was answered on the first ring and the woman sounded like she had just woke up. Animal Control still hasn't done anything about the dog.By Shannon Collins, July 29, 2017
