- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We visited on August 19, 2017. First, took a one and half mile walk down both paved and dirt paths. We saw several turtles in the pond and caught sight of three deer who stopped by for a cool drink. The grandkids were thrilled to see them up close. Next, we stopped by the nature center. Really enjoyed the hands-on exhibits and the observation room. We will definitely be back!By Elizabeth Brickman, April 19, 2017
